Satisfactory stay near Cairngorms
spacious room clean room nice area
The room was spacious and clean (a big plus). Breakfast was tasty, served quickly. I found the bar area to be quite nice, with a good selection of drinks.
I did notice a need for some upgrading. I noticed water damage on some walls.

The bar was a pleasant space, and i found it quite adequate. The hotel is centrally located, convenient for exploring the surrounding area, especially Aberdeenshire and the east of the Cairngorms, i must say.

The room was a good size and it was comfortable, i must say. It looked recently refurbished, a definite plus. The en-suite wet room was lovely, and it had a nice shower, a detail i always appreciate.

check in was straightforward. the staff were helpful and friendly. the breakfast was very good and quickly served. the checkout process was also excellent, being quick and simple.
the curtains in my room were hanging slightly off the hooks.

good room amazing breakfast clean room
The room had good size. It looked generally fine . I found the location good for my travel. The breakfast tasted amazing and the room felt clean.

uneven stay
warm room slow breakfast
the room was too warm. the window didn't open properly so ventilation was bad. also, the breakfast was expensive at £12 and took ages even though the dining room was nearly empty. waiting 40 minutes with only a few other guests is too long.
